Your 2011

It’s been a big year for most of us. In fact, I don’t know anyone who hasn’t had some sort of big transition in the last 12 months.

Here is just a sample of what I’ve seen:

> new jobs (forced and voluntary)
> new companies (forced and voluntary)
> people taking on new roles at their current companies
> managers and employees experiencing new teams
> personal illness
> becoming a parent
> experiencing an empty nest
> accepting the realities of older age (ages 20-73+)
> new marriages starting
> new and old marriages ending
> great successes
> and, learning how to live with less.

What kind of change and transition have you experienced this year?

It’s not uncommon for all of us to rush through the holidays – eating, shopping, traveling, being with family, going non-stop. And once the madness is over, it’s all about planning for the upcoming year.

So often we look forward without acknowledging all the work that has gotten us to where we are today.

Take a breath. Think about where you have been this year. What did you do? What are you most proud of? What didn’t work so well in 2011?

You can use all of this info to help set goals in 2012.* But for now, just give yourself a moment for acknowledgment. I have no doubt you deserve it.

I wish you a happy holiday season full of celebrations, connections, and meaningful recalibration for the year ahead!

Your Wing Woman,
jen
